The Midland Base Camp is a Two Way Radio transceiver, an alarm clock an AM/FM radio and a VHF marine band receiver.  The Midland Base Camp has been designed as a multi-task device. The Base Camp is the Ulitmate Outdoor Solution.

The Basecamp also features an environment friendly dynamo crank which allows you to recharge the radio during a power outage or anytime away from a power source.  Through the USB jack it is possible to recharge other devices such as a mobile phone, iPod, mp3 player by the dynamo crank or via AC or DC adaptor.

The Midland Base Camp also has a built-in flashlight and a built-in SOS Morse Code signal function that allows the transceiver to send messages in code.
